FACE PAINTING CLASSES WITH AMY
Amy is a experienced Face and Body Art instructor located in South West Sydney- her bright colourful work, as well as her positive and supportive teaching style has made her a sought after instructor within Australia and internationally.
Amy has taught classes at the Australian Face and Body Art Convention (Victoria, NSW and QLD), the Australian Body Art Carnivale (QLD),the international Face and Body Artist convention (United States of America), ABAA Queensland, FABACONZ- the New Zealand Face and Body Art Convention as well as many private classes for individuals and companies wanting to train their staff in beautiful face and body Art. Amy also works at international events such as IMATS and the Sydney Beauty Expo demonstrating face and body painting techniques.
One Stroke Face painting!
One stroke face painting has taken the face painting world by storm- and rightly so! These small little cakes allow you to paint multiple colours and shading at once allowing fast, effective and beautiful designs that will wow the crowd. This class is designed to be for on the job- effective and beautiful designs that are able to be performed quickly for those wiggly children and busy events.
What designs will we learn?
Amy will teach you step by step all the brushstrokes you need to learn and a multitude of her popular designs including one stroke butterflies and fairies, one stroke tigers (including cats, cheetahs, lions), one stroke flowers (various types), one stroke dragons, one stroke snakes, onestroke wolves / dogs and one stroke unicorns
Handouts of brushstrokes and designs will be given to students to take home and practice.
We hold Classes in Oran Park (approx 1 hour drive south west of Sydney)
My classes are suitable for new painters however if you are brand new to face painting I strongly suggest you complete the beginners class first to learn basic technique before onestroke which is a bit more complex

- Learn to paint the most popular and requested of Amys favourite face painting designs from simple quick designs to more complex ones
- How to use elements to paint a fast face or a more detailed face depending on the time you have and the childs needs
- Learn techniques and ideas to create your own original designs
- Tips for speed
PRICING
The cost of the onestroke course is $250 per person.
What to Bring
-You need to bring your own face painting kit for this course including onestrokes, rainbows, brushes (flat, angle and round), sponges and a pot for water. If you need to buy supplies to complete this course its best to contact Amy and organise this prior to the day so you will have your supplies ready to go. You can also order online and select "pick up" at checkout and Amy will bring them for you on the day. Please dont hesitate to ask if you are unsure what to buy or bring.
Some supplies will be available to buy on the day.
- A Packet of baby wipes to clean your practise head between designs- Huggies unscented are the best
-Pad and Paper (if you like to take notes)
- Camera or phone to take photos
- List of any questions or techniques you are struggling with or interested in
-Something to eat and drink for Lunch
-Lots of Enthusiasm!! Its a fun, no pressure class with your peers
